Parsley with Milk .. New year’s eve final thoughts

by Maryam on December 31, 2010

For the last couple of days there were two main topics everybody used to discuss. However, they are not new and can take place in any normal conversation. “It doesn’t have to be the new year’s eve to remember what we have accomplished and what is our agenda for the coming year!” I thought while hearing my colleagues’ chat. What are the important/special/significant things you’ve achieved/did/fulfilled during this year, and what are your plans/goals/wishes for 2011?

I remember last year that I was setting in the same room, opening the same page, and writing for the same event exactly in the same day and time. However, at that time my wishes were different, my plans were not the same, and  what I really wanted at that time became my reality today!

I like to give each year a slogan/name/theme  to remind myself always about things needed to be done. I did call 2010 the year where wishes become true and they did. Now, for 2011 I’m not quite sure! Yes, I have many plans,  lots of dreams, and numerous goals; however, the older you get the busier your list would be, the busier your list, the more difficult to select a slogan! You know what I’ve decided ..  I will call it “2011 .. where dreams are done!”

Happy New Year

Parsley with Milk

I discovered this drink while my stay in Makka. The first time I saw it I thought “how this green thing would taste? I don’t think it is worth a try!”. Then after few days, I saw my sister drinking it and I asked her “what does it taste?” she told me “why don’t you try it?”. I asked her “is it worth it?” she answered “you will love it”. “I will love it, no, no I don’t think so”. However, I decided to take a sip. At that moment, every bad idea about this drink changed! I did love it, and when I came back to Kuwait I made many trail and error to discover it’s ingredients.
