Avocado Banana and dry fig pudding

When I started my raw food lifestyle I couldn’t imagen how could I survive without eating something cooked? I thought that I would feel hungry all the time, and that is not satisfying at all! What if I could?  Even though, I didn’t know what to eat.   The choices seemed to be very limited at that time, which appeared to be wrong assumption later.

I needed to make better choices for my health which was descending, feeling exhausted all the time was the main issue, that’s why I insisted to go raw most, five to six days, of the week. Today and after reaching my second month it still challenging in many ways, and there where the fun begins!

My imagination started to do it’s job and create new recipes I couldn’t have tasted it if I didn’t take the first step. The best part was when you think of the taste and then combine the ingredients together and find that the result was exactly as you have expected it to be. Before I started going raw, the amount of fresh vegetables and fruits was at it’s minimum level. Now I reached a level of 95% within two months which is great.

The good news, for me at least, is that there are plenty of ways to eat raw desserts and enjoy the  sweet taste and the nutrition benefits  in the same time. The reason this is satisfying , is because I like to eat sweets and desserts all the time. So now I could enjoy and savor the taste without feeling guilty. I have lost some weight , not that much only 4 lbs, but I noticed a thorough difference in my health, shape, strength and concentration. My carvings for full of sugar stuff decreased to the minimum. Whenever I feel hungry I would eat; the number of meals increased to be six to seven per day. On the other hand the amount of the meals became less.

There are a lot of raw food blogs out there, which provide you with recipes, information, guidelines and instructions. For general references you can check  Rawmazing Raw FoodThe best of raw food and Choosing Raw. These are few blogs which would help, for more information and recipes all you have to do is google “raw food”. I’m pretty sure that you will find thousands and thousands of blogs and websites on this topic.
