From the beginning of my childhood, I knew French toast as bread slices dipped into eggs, then add some salt and pepper and that’s it! In my last visit I stayed in Hampton inn for 5 days. The best thing about this hotel (since I’m a big fan of breakfast meal) is that you will have your breakfast for free and with a variety of choices.

0in;" lang="en-US">French toast was one of the varieties I tasted while I was staying there. When I decided to taste it I found something “sweet” in my mouth. I didn’t know that French toast suppose to be sweet in taste or even served with a syrup or honey on top. It was very exciting experience to try new things and taste different flavors.

0in;" lang="en-US">While my search I found very strange information about French toast, which is not French at all! Yes what you are reading is correct not French! It was originally from Rome, but the interesting thing that every country has its own version. So I suppose that Kuwaiti version was the “un sweet” one! Just joking. What I’m sure about is, if you want the French version you can refer to is as “pain perdu”.

0in;" lang="en-US">Beat the egg, and then add the milk and the cinnamon. Pour the mixture in wide bowl, which will make it easier to dip the toasted bread completely. Keep the bread dipped for 5 minutes and make sure that, both sides are covered with the mixture. Milt some butter in the frying pan and fry the bead using medium heat. When you get the brown color in one side, flip it to the other side.
0in;" lang="en-US">When your toasts are done. Remove from the frying pan and add syrup or honey or even sugar powder to the top.
